Great insular country, located between Asia and Oceania (the western part of the New Guinea belongs to Indonesia) and among the ocean Pacific and the Indian ocean.
Torn to pieces from political struggles and from separatist movements and from the destructive work of the great tsumani that has struck in December 2004 the western coasts of Sumatra.
It is constituted by the great islands of Sumatra, Giava, the greatest part of the Borneo and the New Guinea, of Celebes (Sulawesi) and from the smallest islands of the Probe, Bali and Molucche.
The island of Giava, where the capital Jakarta (over 9 million inhabitants) is also situated, it is one of the more densely populated places of the planet.
