Big nation of center-northern America, wide over 8 times more than Italy and with a heterogeneous population and generally cordial of over 80 million inhabitants.
The state occupies a very various territory, from the splendid and solitary beaches of the Low California to those Caribbean of Cancun and Cozumel; from the deserts of the arid tierrases calientes, to the gorges and the throats of the Sierra Madre; from the great volcanic cones of the Popocatepetl and the Nevado de Colima to the splendid central plateaus, studded of about ten pleasant colonial cities.
It is a country of great contrasts: from the big cities of Ciudad de Mexico (perhaps 20 million inhabitants, who knows?), impressive of traffic-jams, of pollution, of poverty, of districts without any service, up to the sparkling beaches of Acapulco or Puerto Escondido; from the sweets colonial city of Guanajuato S. Miguel de Allende, Queretaro, Zacatecas, S. Cristobal de las Casas to the lost Indian puebloses and the great ruins Maya and Aztecs as Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza.
It is a difficult nation, but where live can be pleasant; easy to visit with a good organization of the transports, both of bus and of airplanes.
